WHO CAN APPLY ?

MULTIDISCIPLINARY   SYNERGISM   TO   IMPROVE   EUROPEAN  ALLELOPATHY   RESEARCH
 

There are two main criteria :

1. Nationality :

Community funded researchers taking part in conferences will normally be nationals of a Member
State or an Associated State. These will include individuals who at the time of the event are active
in laboratories or institutions outside Member States and Associated States.

Associated States are :
 

CANDIDATES FOR EU-MEMBERSHIP

BULGARIA, CYPRUS, CZECH REPUBLIC, ESTONIA, HUNGARY, LATVIA, LITHUANIA, POLAND, ROMANIA, SLOVAKIA, SLOVENIA.
Association Agreements are expected to enter into force in 1999.

EFTA - EEA

ICELAND, LIECHTENSTEIN, NORWAY
Association to FP5 is part of the extension of the EEA agreement; entry into force expected in 1999.

OTHERS

ISRAEL : Association Agreement in force.
SWITZERLAND : Negotiations finalised.

2. Age :

Young researchers are researchers, who additionally satisfy the Age Criterion and are able to
benefit from the advanced training offered by a Conference project.
Young researchers are researchers up to an age limit of 35 years at the time of a
particular conference event.
