The homepage of Tamar Hizkiahu-Shaq, a Ph.D. Student in Tel Aviv University, presents his thesis work dealing with the Allelopathy among submerged hydropgytes from an ecological point of view. It is aimed at learning whether or not allelopathy may be a formative force in submerged plant communities in freshwater habitats.

Allelochemistry is described here with special attention to aquatic ecosystems.
